Take the blocks and keep the old man paid.
You're Vic Amato, a capo out of the Venetian Social Club on Bloomfield Avenue. You've got four guys and three blocks, and the old man is giving you twelve weeks to prove you should be made. Tommy Barese's crew runs out of the Ironbound, and they want the same blocks you do.
- Tap one of your guys, then a lit block. Next to your turf he can shake down a business or hit a Barese spot. On your own turf he collects.
- Every spot you hold pays street tax at the end of the week. Barese moves after you do.
- Rough stuff brings heat, with extra for blocks beside the precinct. High heat draws raids, and heat at 10 is an indictment. Lay low to cool it.
- The old man wants his envelope on weeks 4, 8 and 12. Miss two and you're finished.
- Taking the Barese club wins the game outright. If Barese takes the Venetian, the game ends there.
